Seeking Entertainment for State Fall Games Community Festival

WHY: Calling all Stilt walkers, balloonists, ice cream trucks, cotton candy vendors, hot dog vendors and entertainers in the Glens Falls area!
Special Olympics New York is hosting a ‘Community Festival’ prior to the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 State Fall Games and we want you to be a part of it! This event is free and open to the public and SONY Athletes and Coaches who will be traveling in from all over the New York State to attend!

Special Olympics New York’s 2012 State Fall Games are among three annual State Games and more than 400 competitive experiences held each year throughout New York. Nearly 900 athletes and coaches from across the state will be competing in seven Olympic-style sports including bocce, cycling, cross county, equestrian, softball, soccer and golf. All events are free and open to the public.
Special Olympics New York athletes train and compete year-round in 22 sports, the Young Athlete Program and the Motor Activities Training Program - at no cost to the athlete, their families or caregivers.
